For every war, there is a cost. You wouldn't go on ebay and pay 100,000 dollars for a used Ford Escort just so you can say "I won! I won the auction!". Yet we have no problem paying tens of thosands of lives in a war to declare ourselves the winner.
Here's a little hint for the clueless.....the 3000 soldiers and 100,000 civilians who have been killed in Iraq don't give a rat's *** who wins. They are still DEAD.

I completely agree with what you are saying. No one wins a war. Both sides lose.
I can understand defending yourself and your land, but when others go in and occupy your land for a few people known as terrorists, then all logic goes out the window.
This war is wrong on so many levels. Who wins? Actually in this case there is a winner in someones mind. The terrorists believe they are winning. According to them, they are winning because we are doing exactly what they wanted us to do. Killing innocent civilians, just like they do. We have stooped that low. Whether it is accidental killing or not, it is still wrong!
