i say yes. i remember a few years ago, i was being called by the same telemarketers EVERY SINGLE DAY. then the government released the "do not call list." it was simple and brilliant. you go to a website (for free!) and put in your phone number. that made it ILLEGAL for any telemarketer to call you (they get fined). since i did that, i received only one telemarketing call (i reported them, and didn't hear from them again).

however, i consider selling things door to door even more pervasive and terrible. you can always not answer the phone or just hang up. but if you come to my door, i don't know who you are before answering. it could be something important! for all i know, you just got shot and need to call 911. or you could be my neighbor needing to tell me something.

but no... i answer and it's someone trying to sell (scam) a magazine subscription. this happens all the time and i'm sick of it!!!! i think this is harassment and should be illegal.

It was made in the 1980's and the main actor is Johnny Yune, with a touch of Pat Paulson. It is kind of a follow up to They Call Me Bruce. It is about a Korean guy who is looking for his friend from America after the Korean war. If you know how to get one of these and I think it was only made into a VHS, please let me know this is a bunch of laughs in this movie.

Ok, friend of mine has a song in her head. She doesn't know the artist, but it is a male w/ a smoky/gravely voice. Think Axl Rose, but she doesn't think it's him. Anyway, the only line she can think of is "Everybody here has wondered what it would be like to be with somebody else." She can't sing to save her life, so i have no idea the tune (not that it would help here). Any guesses?
