I've wondered that too. I agree with the first answer though, they figure the longer it is the more complete it looks so they're more likely to get best answer. I'd rather give the answer & a link to the source if they want more info, ya know?

Well, many songs you may like the beat, but the true meaning is in the words (lyrics). Its not all there if you only have part of the lyrics or none of the lyrics. That is why people give the words to the whole song.

I can only think of it as something to back up their answer. For example "Those lyrics match this song and here's the proof".

they probably thought that since you wanna know what the song was then maybe u wanna know the lyrics. perhaps you should just tell them you wanna know the song title and NOT the lyrics. or not to sound bitchy avoid looking at questions like that period....

what i really hate is when 13 people keep giving the same answer. if someone already answered a question correctly, why repost the same answer? i know its to get points but its kind of redundent to have the SAME answer more than once.

I tend to be one of 'those people'. I don't have any reason for doing it that way or not. I didn't know it bothered anyone. I will keep that in mind.

they want to show off their hard work googling lyrics to find a song. and then show you they can copy and paste.
