My second part is, do you ever get the urge to just spend money? I'm not going to spend money I don't have... but I'm in a crazy mood and want to shop!!! but not leave my house. What should I look for on EBAY? anything goes. I've looked for baby clothes for my friend who is pregnant, high heeled shoes... boots for the winter... purses, sunglasses. you know, usual girl stuff. I am not white but I think this song is somewhat racist and profiling even if it's sung by a white person. I wouldn't like someone of my own kind (Latino) to be singing about how our people is rejected by everyone else, unless it's main purpose was for comedy. I don't really find this song too funny. What do you think?

I don't know. I think she might just be using him a) for more publicity , b) for his money and c) to boost her career. Everytime I see her she always says the same thing "He's so amazing," "I'm so happy" "He's the most amazing man in the whole world" I mean come on, Katie, can't you come up with some different lines? IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME THING!!!! I don't know but he also could be using her to make himself look bigger and younger since he's getting old. I'd hate to say it, but I think he may be going through a mid-life crisis. And no I'm not hating, I just got tired of seeing them everywhere all over each other, saying the same redundant made-for-tv phrases and gestures. I have a feeling their "love" will not last, once Katie realizes what a controlling, lunatic Tom is. His children can't even watch TV! Step into the millenium, Tom, and while you're at it, get someone you're own age! Katie's old enough to be your daughter!

Yes, next week is Shallow People's Awareness Week (I found it somewhere). Since I love to make music mixes with themes, this one looks fun - so I need some songs that fit.

I can think of two songs that span the gamut of taste: Ben Folds Five, "Battle of Who Could Care Less"; and Nelly Furtado, "Promiscuous Girl"). Any more suggestions?
