There are two fishermen in a boat, Steve and John, and the boat starts sinking. They can just about see shore from their sinking vessal.
Steve says, "Come on lets swim to shore"
John yells in panic, "No, I can't swim!"
Steve quickly resolves the situation by saying "You lie on my back and I'll swim."
Five hours later they get to shore and Steve collapses from exhaustion. "Oh God!" he gasps, "I'm f**ked!"
"Sorry mate," replies John, "but that's the only way I could hang on!"

Has anyone else notice a rash of kids & tweens wearing "fashionable" AC/DC, Rolling Stones, etc t-shirts?

Man, I am So tempted to go right up & ask them if they actually *Know* any of the songs or just wear the shirt because it's "in".

Well, for those who see it in schools, just ask em- "Name me 3 ___(insert band here)___ songs!"

so true - we slept in cots with brightly coloured lead-based paints and survived. No seat belts, air bags etc, riding in the back of a trailer or flat top was a special treat! Shared one bottle of pop with four other friends and no-one died! Spent hours building go-carts, ride themdownhill and after a few hits in bushes re-designed them with brakes ! Ate worms and mud pies, & the worms didnt live in us forever! Fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones & teeth an no lawsuits! If you weren't picked for football/netball team you dealt with the disappointment. Imagine that!

I just got this idea while answering somebody else's question and decided to test it out. My idea is that people who eat with others are more likely to be at or close to their ideal weight and those who eat alone are more likely to be under or overweight, so anyone trying to change his/her weight should make a resolution to stop eating alone.

I asked something sort of like this yesterday but didnt really specify anything. I know that they were switching from the WB to the CW. ok thats fine. But where i live in Olean, NY (14760) they changed the WB to WNYO. It is a weird station with this show called Desire. Earlier in September my favorite show (gilmore girls) was atleast on at midnight, but now its not even on anymore! I have no clue what to do. The premier is this Tuesday and I'm really upset! How do I get the CW?
