I am partial to Mustangs because I have owned two and all that my husband and I have owned since we were married are Fords! But I do love the old Camaros too!

I've had a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am which was built in the same GM factory. . . at least most of the body was. I loved that car but some dumb broad T-Boned me and totalled it. I now have a 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo SS Supercharger and LOVE IT! It has pick up and guts. . . AND. . it has hell of a lot more room in it than the Trans AM did or a camaro or mustang does. It also handles like a dream. I've driven both a Camaro and Mustang and wasn't too crazy about either of them. The new Mustangs make you feel like you are driving in a kiddie car as the seating compatrment is soooo damn small. The mustangs are a bumpy ride and also handle nowhere near as good as the Monte Carlo. I couldn't imagine taking a road trip in a Mustang. . . you'd barely have enough room to pack your toothbrush and shave kit. The Monte Carlo however has a huge trunk and plenty of back seat room. Hell. . . you could have a threesome in the back seat!!! The back seats also fold down to extend the trunk. Ford got luck when GM, Pontiac, and Chevy stopped making the Camaro and Firebird/Trans Am. Because the Mustang was the only mid range sports car available they sold way too many of them. You can't spit without hitting a mustang on the road these days. However. . . . The Camaro and Firebird/Trans Am will be produced again starting next year and Mustang sales are gonna take a dive like Paris Hilton on a weiner farm! Anyhow. . .in summation. . . . try driving a Monte Carlo SS Supercharger and see if you like it. After My Trans Am got totalled I drove Mustangs and Camaros first but for the hell of it drove a Monte Carlo and fell in love with it. It's just my opinion but give it a try! P.S. . . . . if you see a terrorist. . . . kill him. . . but torture him first! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

That is a really hard one. The camaro was so incrediably hot and always had an awesome engine. The Mustang was also hot but often under powered. Based on power i gotta say the Camaro but everything else is equal for me. I am talking about pre-72 for both cars. I do not even consider either car after that.
