I understand 'pyro' to have a meaning with fire and 'genesis' hold a relation to beginnings... I would suggest the word could be 'firestarter' or 'to start a fire', or something like that, am I correct?

Yet, where does this words trully originate from and where is a commonly found (wether fiction or not)? Oh and the correct meaning would be great too.
