So many on this group with atrouchious spellings and they are not mistakes either. Don't mind mistakes, I make them lots of them times. My question is, what pleasure do you get out of it and if people can't make sense of the words, why bother writing at all?

Why is that there is a different spelling for English words. eg in South Africa colour, flavour, favour are spelled with a u & in USA they are spelled without a u??
