I like reading different kinds of questions on here but I get annoyed with the spelling mistakes and the lack of punctuation. No capitals, commas or full stops etc. I know with mobile phones there are a lot of shortcuts ( I use them myself) but this is just because of a lack of space. Are people just lazy and can't be bothered or is it a genuine lack of education??

I want to know what you call this when ministers or priests pray putting their hands on the head of believers, usually to give them a spirit.

Thank you in advance

I once witnessed two different people on different occasions referring to the same child (not theirs) as a "special delivery".

I presume it means caesarean birth?

I guess I am not not up on my baby jargon. Is this expression, as it pertains to human beings, a common one? What does it mean?

I am not even sure under which category I should be posting this question.

I used to use the phrase "just call a spade a spade" which means just say what it is and stop beating around the bush. I want to know what this means, and where it comes from. Someone told me that the term "spade" is also a racist comment for a black person. I didn't know that, and I don't mean to be racist at all, farthest thing from it. Is the phrase referring to this racial term, or like a spade that's a suite of cards?
