I take your point, up to a point.

My personal one is is 'At this moment in time,' when a 'moment' is a fleetingly ill defined and thus already passed moment OF time.

A 'moment' is nothing but that and needs no other reference.

How about, in relation to your question, 'twilight'!,

Having just left the far norther reaches of the UK mainland, I can report that 'Broad Daylight' was not in evidence from what I saw up there ~ at 12 noon too.

Broad daylight is a term used to say somthing is done out in the open in an area were anyone can see it in the day time.

Ah, clearly you have not lived in Scotland where the daylight can, at times, be very narrow, slipping as it does between grey clouds!
