Because I'm not good at talking, I do not want to talk to others much, that's why I'm not practicing much to speak well. It's just like a vicious circle. Any suggestions?

'poet'? When referring to the poet I usually use 'the lyrical self' but I'm sick of that one too.. so what are some others?

Also.. what are some other ways to mention the structure, figures of speech and so on in a poem? I usually begin each paragraph using 'structurally,....' or 'musically,...' but it gets annoying.

I'm writting a couple of essays discussing a couple of poem for school so I wanna be as formal and sophisticated as possible. Any tips?

Thanks in Advance!
