(ANS) Being up yourself!! means that your full of your own self importance, its a form of arrogance, its egotism at its worst, its offensive because a person being up themselves cannot see or is unable to consider another persons point of view (its a form of pyschological blindness, unawreness to the point of absurdity!!).

**The Emperors new clothes (when infact he's stark naked),etc.
