"...you had to admit that it was nice to be without a body for a while; there was an addictive thrill in being of no age, no gender, with no past. It was an infinite sequence of opening portals, of menus and corridors that let you into brief, painless encounters, where what passed for life was a listless kind of browsing. World without consequence, amen. And in it she felt light as an angel."

T. Winton (2002), Dirt Music p4. Australia: Picador.

I'm doing some gay song/poem thing for a school assignment, and I am being WAY too repetitive. What words are synonymous with friends/friendship? Not exactly synonymous, but words that go along with it? Like I already have love...and laughter, and stuff along those lines, but I need some more words. Ok, I'm supposed to be rewriting the song "Seasons of Love" from the movie Rent, and I'm filling in the words to change from "love" to "friendship", so I'm changing it to have to do with friend-like things. Even if you've never seen/heard of the movie Rent or the song "Seasons of Love" any help would be appreciated!

It is for a alphabet book project for kids so the sentence cannot be too violent or sexual.

I am thinking something like 'Orderly Octopus plans October' that kind of stuff. Some words can start with another letter. The main thing is that it has to have a twist in it, a weird kind of feeling...thanks a lot....
