weather and whether.
i know one is for snow, sunshine
and the other is the other one. i know what it means

but can you come up with a short story or pneumonic device or something for me to remember.

like this;
desert and dessert. desert is the sand. dessert is the yummy thing because it has 2 ss's, and you always want 2 yummy things.
