Of the style in the Bilbo/Gollum scene in The Hobbit..very English drawing-room. Here it is:

My first you put on glowing coal
And into it you put my whole.
My second really is the first;
My third mislikes the winter blast.

Have fun! Oh, and if you have any to share with me, I'd be grateful.

It's a part of British culture to find toilet humour amusing, so come on - what makes you giggle in this department? What about an alternative reference to the toilet?

"Launching a chocolate torpedo" and "Dump Station" always make me laugh!

I'm asking this out of anal-retentiveness, but my wife made a comment yesterday that I want her to translate into straightforward English. She won't do it though...

She told me that it might be time to take out my earring (I have had one for about 6 years). I asked why, and she said "I'm over it". I asked if that meant she didn't like it, and she said, "I didn't say that, I'm just sort of over it now". I asked her to more clearly define what "I'm over it" meant and she said "I'm not as into it as I used to be" but still wouldn't go as far as to say she didn't like the earring or that she thought it looked bad (I asked several more times).

So whaddya think? Also - do you have any comments like this in your life that you wish were more clearly stated?

People used to say "cheese" for taking a good picture. Similarly, people say "qiezi" instead of "cheese" in Chinese. I'm wonderring if anybody could tell me how to "say cheese" in other languages.

# # Joey : No, Yeeees. God, how do I say this? Oh, hi, you know that girl from the Greek restaurant with the hair?
Chandler : Ooh, that girl that I hate, eww, drives me crazy, eww, eww, oh!
Joey : Look, I don't hate Janice, she's... she's just a lot to take, you know.
Chandler : Well, there you go. ##

He has made Asia's longest palindrome. he tried for limca book of records. they replied that they won't accept it they said that the word 'malayalam' is only the longest palindrome. How silly it is really !. Later he prepared a cross word puzzle. It is India's biggest. He sent it to the limca authorities. they didn't reply further he received no acknowledgement for his registered post. three years he made correspondence but vain. I am vexed.
