I'm trying to expand my vocabulary, and I used to look up every word I did not understand, but this was so time consuming, and eventually I would forget the word's meaning. So lately I have been writing 5 words a day and thinking about it throughout the day. Is this a better way, or are there better ways?

Have fun with more "ink" rhymes, or color rhymes. Okay to do a short paragraph or short short story.
This is NOT homework. I am in my 30s. It's a creative writing exercise. Thanks.
