"Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action." - Benjamin Disraeli

Are you really happy now? What have you done or gone through to become happy?

Do you regret any of the actions you have done, as instead of happiness they only brought you pain?

Thank you for taking the time to ponder this over. Have a nice day. :)

I am not sure in which order the 3 words should be read. They may be a motto associated with the Sicilian emblem, the trinacria. They surround the trinacria emblem on a Sicilian postcard dating from approx. 1905.

This is very important to me. It etched on the front of a statue in front of either the Library Of Congress or the National Archives. I am thinking of using it for a memorial and it was the 1st thing that popped into my head when I was thinking of about the memorial. Please be serious about this question, some of the answers for my other question were silly and it was not a silly subject. thank you for any help.

Serious answers please!

Why is it that some people say " I wouldn't be caught dead....." doing something? For instance " I wouldn't be caught dead (here or doing this)".Why don't we say " i wouldn't be caught ALIVE......."? I mean wouldn't it make more sense? Because you wouldn't be there if your dead, MAJORITY of the time, right?
