Parrot like learning is considered as 'neandrothaolous' but for a 4 yr old it is essential as a stable base is requiredin both learning numbers and alphabets. Is there a technique? Delhi has several learning schools, which is more appropriate? Steiner, montaserri, etc. ?

Hello,I'm looking for a name for my home-based daycare my name is April but nothing I think of goes with my name. It doesn't really have to go with my name just something that will stick and appeal to parent's and the kid's something catchy and ryming about daycare. THANKS IN ADVANCE TO YOU ALL!!

My son will be 5 in March and he has been reading and spelling for over a year. He loves math too- adding and subtracting even into negative numbers. I have to ask him to put down his math book and go outside and play! He spells backwards outloud (on his own) and works on 1st grade books without any pressure from us. He is constantly asking us questions about spelling and rhyming etc and is an amazing artist too. I am just worried that he will be bored in school. Anyone have a similar situation and how did you deal with it and the teacher?

I work at a preschool/afterschool program for troubled kids and we want to have a dentist come in and make a presentation about dental health. I'm not sure what my first step is. I've looked at the ADA website and my local dental society website, but didn't find anything. Should I just ask my dentist to do it? Or is there some other way?

I teach children between the ages of 12-18 months and we're looking for something free, hopefully printable since we're running out of time...for our children to give to their parents for Valentine's Day next week! My co-teacher wanted to buy small 3" board books, but we can't find any for a reasonable price, so we thought we'd make one. I thought we could just get online and print one out. Just wondering if anyone has any great ideas. We'd like it to be small so it will fit down inside one of those cellophane treat bags along w/ a banana, small bag of cheerios, and a small box of raisins. Thanks for any ideas!

My daughter is entering kindergarten next year but i do not think that the 3 day week is effective. as i have seen the current kindergarten class of 25 kids where there is not a day that goes by without one or more of them in tears or going home. i believe it is because they are not developmentally ready for it but i need some sort of professional back up.
