At your college talk to one of your senior class teachers about organizing a casual group of students who are also working on child care industry. Ask if they would mind mentoring (kind of like a chaperone) the group, helping to organize it, plan some discussions, until you or one of the others (hey! why not rotate the moderator of the month among you students!) is willing to take over. This is like networking... Could be very reassuring to find that others are struggling in the same areas and you could help each other!
