What are the chances of being hired into to be a vet tech/assistant, when you have no experience, although they say they'll train the right person.

I'm going to school in March to study in the Vet Tech program, and I'll be certified after 18 months.

What are the chances of being hired knowing you aren't experienced, but you will be studying in the field? I applied for a vet tech position yesterday, and they said they would train the right person. And they didn't say you had to be certified. I just think it would be good training for me prior to going to school.

Drinking a lot of water also makes you have to pee a lot; a lot as in frequently in less than half an hour. Is that normal?

It sure as hell didn't prepare ME for it. In high school, you're surrounded by teachers who actually take the time to help YOU personally if you don't understand something. They're there to lift your spirits if it's obvious that your grades are slipping from some personal trauma happening at home. You look at college professors, and all they care about is whether or not you paid them.

High school never taught me how to deal with an acedmic life mingling hand in hand with a working life. I could have devoted all the time I wanted to for school work in high school, but now all I do is work to ensure that I'm going to have a roof over my head and something to eat tomorrow.

Did high school actually help you to deal with college?
