A troubled boy kept getting into trouble. He was thrown out of schools and was put in jail a few times. Then he met someone who turned him around. She was a woman who had lost her child in an accident. She helped him turn his life around, finish high school and college and open a counseling service to help other troubled youths to turn their lives around.
This is all background information.
The story could be about this man telling a boy about his history to help the boy to see how he can change his future. "You can't do anything about your past, but you can do a lot to change your future".
