i'm getting my GCSE results tomorrow and i'm scared and worried i am qiute good at school so i don't know. i've had bad and good grades in the past so i have no idear. i feel like i've really done well and i've put a lot of effort in them and i have answerd every question in all of them but i don't know if i had past or not i want at least 5 of them past. even if i did'nt pass them would i still be able to study some of the subjects and maybe go on to A or AS levels

I'm asked this question, which I fear is bit beyond me. Can anyone help perhaps explaining what exactly is being expected from this question and/or any answer/help towards it ???

"Is there a natural class that has nasals and approximants but not vowels?? I'm stuck on a phonology problem where one allomorph occurs before a vowel, and another allomorph occurs before nasals and approximants. Sonorants doesn't seem to fit."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have studied English for many years. I also use the languge in my line of work quite regularly. The problem is that though I perfectly understand the language and write fairly well I seem not to speak as good as I want to. When I speak my mind doesn't seem to remember the grammar I have learned and don't use even the very common and simple words that are used in day to day conversations. I hear my self making very silly mistakes and even the simple words doesn't come to me instantly. I read books and know fairly enough vocabularies. Now days I am suspecting if it is psycological rather than lack of the knowledge. I really need help. Speaking good English is really important for my career advancement.

I plan on becoming a nurse in the U.S. I'm a U.S. citizen, but my parents are moving back to Philippines, and if I stay here in the U.S. I have to work to support myself, if I move in with them, I have a decent place to stay.... just curious about the comparison's in nursing schools in Philippines and here in the U.S.
