You can be in the IT industry in various roles.
a) techie : - Learn J2EE, .Net, Oracle
b) Project Management :- Go for PMI
c) Quality :- Go for being a ceritifed Quality Analyst. CMMI, Quality Standards etc
d) Domain Specialist : - As U r from Media, U can concentrate to become a specialist in Media Industry, and work on IT products targetted at Media Industry.
