I think one of the best ways is to buy Compublox.
I tried this software for one month and my logical thinking improved unbelievably!!
Compublox is a computer program (Windows 98/ME/2000/XP), available on CD. It contains a series of mental exercises, designed to improve concentration, memory, and "logical thinking", and to build brain “muscle”, which leads to mental fitness.
On-line cost is only US$49.
A brief description on the booklet given with the disc is more than enough to inspire you to improve your logical thinking, here is a part:
A-To a great extent, a human being's learning ability determines his quality of life.
B-Mental fitness can only be achieved through mental exercise
C-Logical thinking is a learned process in which one uses reasoning consistently to arrive at a conclusion.
D-The ability to think logically allows a person to reject quick
and easy answers, such as “I don't know,” or “this is too difficult,” by empowering him to delve deeper into his thinking processes and understand better the methods used to arrive at a solution.
E- It has been shown that training in logical thinking processes makes a person brighter.

Puzzles and the like work well for many people. Crosswords, math, etc work the mind's muscles. I hate puzzles of the normal sort, but formal logic presents its own puzzles, and these I like. There are 72 formal arguments of logic, when "moods" and "figures" are taken into account, yet of these 72, only 12 lead to logical, formal truths. And of these 12, none is necessarily the metaphysical or the physical truth. Any missing data would throw off the results. If you knew the results were not correct, you would be left scratching your head, looking some more. If you didn't know that data was missing or incorrect, you might go with one of the formally "true" answers, in which case you could have egg on your face, or at the worst lose your life.

First remove emotion, distractions and biases. Then define a goal concisely. Next visualize steps. Don't use extraneous "material". Physically or mentally walk the course.
Start small. Concentrate. Know when you've got an answer.

Start with the simple analogy. If possible, get a Miller's Analogy Test Study Guide with practice tests and play with them ... often.
