if so how did you find them for getting you regular work?

I was registered with a couple of agencies but only one gave me regular work - in fact they 'harrassed' me into working far more than I wanted to! I was a newly qualified teacher and didn't have much experience, so if you have a few years under your belt, they will bite your hand off to give you work. It's a good living (£100 per day on average) and you can choose to work when you want, and if you want. Good luck.

I did a lot of work for Hays Education a couple of years ago and they were very good. Some LEAs also run their own 'not for profit' agencies.

I tried it but found that i got a better response through dropping my cv in to schools direct & registering on the counties local supply list. The problem with agencies is that they charge the schools more so doing it yourself can be good as it is cheaper for the schools.
