Is it true that the amount of time (in seconds) between seeing lightening and hearing thunder can be translated as the amount of miles away the storm is? (eg 10 seconds between lightening and thunder means the storm is 10 miles away?)

i want to prepare a excel sheet in which i want to prepare three columns. one for number of days served, one for the rate and last one for the amount. i want to set a formula like that if i will enter the figure from 1 to 9 in the days column, the rate will come 3.75 automatically, if i will enter 10 to 19 in days column, the rate will come 7.50 automatically and if i will enter the figure from 20 to 31 the rate will come 15 automaticaly. is it possible. if anyone can help me, plz help.

I heard that this man has a book for sale on ebay that has all the answers. he said that god told him what to write. like the cure for cancer and how to make world peace. and its really facinating ive heard. he want 1 million for it. the top bidder on ebay was 40$. hahahahA! what do you think? oh by the way he says cancer is from eating your self. like finger nails hair skin.............etc.

I cant wait till school starts back. Another year of lying cheating and deceitful ways. High school is crazy as hell like ppl wise. Ppl heard u said something about them so they stop liking u or confront you, ppl taking ppls bf's and gf's. Im super ready to go back to all the drama! I will be in the 10th grade. Wow! Freshman year was a such drag...ugh! So glad it's over. Going to the 10th Baby! Can't wait til homecoming season. I am going to like 3 homecomings yAY. School is great summer is boring. Im ready to go back and do work. I miss working. Next year i have Geometry, Biology, and umm... oh yeah English! Only 3 main classes hell yeah!
