In college classes, the first course that is given in a subject is usually referred to as 101, which can be for a semester or for a year. . You can tell which course you want or need to take, because next level courses usually start with 200.

If you take English 101 in college, it is the first English class offered, the basic class.

Yeah that's a highway over in east Indiana but its just a state road. It runs north and south in the southeast part of the state. Why?
