I could have met a 2,000 word requirement with two pictures instead!

Regretably, I hadn't realized this when I was constantly writing them for secondary and undergraduate schooling, but if I should ever have children, I want to know what advice to give them!

Mine was an English teacher, Mr. Patten, because he not only encouraged me in my Creative Writing, but also helped me find markets in which to *sell* my writing, he believed in me that much.

I am in highschool this year. Last year in 8th I moved from my school I'd went to for 7 years to another school where I knew no one. Now I moved back to the cpounty where all my friends are from my old school, which are all now in highschool like me. They remember me of course, because I saw them today when I went to register. But in 1 of my classes I know no one, and none of my friends are in that class- which happens to be my homeroom. What would you suggest? And do you think I'll have the same lunch period as my friends in a highschool of about 1000? Thanks to anyone who can tell me anything at all!!

I need to know something. I have to decide between band camp and long's retreat with my family.

here are the pros and cons of going

band camp cons

getting up at 6:00 in the morning
practing till 6:00at night
playing the trumpet all day long
eating what they want not what we want
getting about 5 breaks that are only 15 min
around bugs

pros

not missing 2 games

long's retreat

cons

if i go i will miss 2 weeks of of games to march in
will be with family and around bugs
will might get sunburnt

pros

will be away from mr. fulk band teacher
will be away from this divorce stuff
will be able to have fun in water and everything
will be in a cabin that is fun
will be able to get away from things for a while
which one should i do

I have a pretty good job making $8.78 an hour and itll go up sometime within the next month to 9 something

but do you think i can afford to move out with a room mate??

how much does rent usually cost if you have a roomie and will nearly 9 dollars an hour be enough to cover the cost??

and

im also a full time student who can only work around 24 hours a week during the year however i have about $3k saved up in my account and im working full time now until school starts
