The schoo project im doing requires coming up with a solution to help people carry weight that they arent supposed to carry. Average man is supposed to carry 15% of their weight, but many people carry more and backpacks for school kids also cannot hold a lot. Im doing some research and found African woman can hold 70% of their weight on their heads, but how do they do it?

can i change this sentence to
The outer skin of an orange can be produced orange zest which is used to give flavour in cooking.

2)The fruit is commonly peeled and eaten fresh, or squeezed for its juice. Can i change to
Oranges can be peeled and eaten fresh or squeezed for orange juice.

i'm doing a feature story about the eight new teachers in my school. It has to be short and interesting at the same time due to limited space in the paper. Any tips?
and can someone help me write a lead? It's my first time and i need someone to show me the way. Our editors and advisor said we're on our own or we get a bad grade. how can i write an interesting lead that answers the who, what, when, where, why questions about the eight teachers? the lead can't be too long by the way. thanks.
