Write the fraction:
type of tree/total number of trees
and change to percent.
Total number of trees = 87 + 66 + 38 + 29 = 220
Percentage maples = 87/220 = 0.3955 = 39.55 %
Percentage oak = 66/220 = 0.3 = 30%
Percentage birch = 38/220 = 0.1727 = 17.27%
Percentage pine = 29/220 = 0.1318 = 13.18%

NaCl mol.mass = Na:23 + Cl:35.5 = 58.5g/mol. Of this, Na = 23 / 58.5 x 100% = 39.32% Sodium. Cl = 35.5 / 58.5 x 100% = 60.68% Chlorine.
