If anybody had a delicious passion for beans, it had to be Karla.


Her favorite though was baked beans. Unfortunately, she always


had a very embarrassing reaction to these beans.


Even so, she had them every day in this Diner. One special


birthday at the Diner, Karla met Julio, the love of her life. They


married and Karla thought to herself “Such a sweet gentleman


would never carry this on.” So she made a tough choice


and gave up beans. A year later, she was driving and her car broke


down. So she called Julio, “I’m going to be a little late for dinner


Ok?” Julio responded “That’s fine; I have a surprise for you!”


Karla walked as fast as she could back home, only to pass by the


Diner to smell those delicious beans. She stopped in to order three


plates of beans. When she left the Diner, she left behind ill effects


of the beans. Finally arriving at her house, her husband came


and blindfolded her and lead her to the kitchen table. “What are


you doing?” Karla asked. “It’s a surprise, sit down and no


peeking!” said Julio. Just as he was about to unblind her, the


phone rang. “I’ll get it, you stay and don’t peek!” Julio explained


and left the room. Karla saw that this was her only chance, she


shifted her weight to one leg and let it all out. It was not only


loud, it smelled really, really gross. Then she shifted


onto her other but cheek and let out three more. She took her


napkin and fanned the car vigorousity. Keeping her ears tuned to



he conversation of her husband on the phone in the other room.


She went on like this for about ten minutes. When she heard Julio


hang up the phone, she stopped, folded the napkin and put it in her


lap. Karla was satisfied with herself and looked like a picture of


innocence. Julio came into the room, “Sorry sweetie for taking so


long. Julio apologized. He took off the blindfold and was


surprised!!! There were about twelve guests sitting at her table to


wish her a “Happy Birthday”

I get GCF 4 = (4y^3 + 7y^2 + 2y)

2 and 1 2 and 1 (factors)of the first and last
so (2 + 1) ( 2 + 1) Don't equal middle term.

I don't think I am doing this right or maybe this trinomial is prime?

x^2 + 5x - 9

Need to show my work.

I know I start with (x ) (x )
Then is it positive or negative?

(x- ) (x- )
or (x+ )(x+ )

Then I have to get factors of 9, correct?

3 and 3 is all I can come up with, I am soooo confused

here's the problem: The telling of tales is oneof the earliest forms of entertainment, and they increased in complxity as time went on ( words from entertainment- complexity are underlined)
1) entertainment, and it increased thier complexity
2) entertainment, whcih both increased in complexity

4) no error

Hi.I'm a high school student in Japan.
I'm working on my graduation thesis.
I'm doing a research on Harriet Tubman.I have lots of information of her and I know what she did .
I was going to search why she had such a "strong will" to run away and help the others in such a dangerous situation.
But I can't find out "What made her so strong".
My teacher told me to gather the facts of her background when she was little and connect that to my introduction.
But there is not enough facts to connect it to my introduction.
Do you have some interesting episode that I can use?
Is there an another way that I can write my thesis on what made her strong?
Or is there an another interesting topic that I can write for my thesis?
I have to write about 30 pages about this!!!!
