1. 6x - 9 + 4 = 5x + 10x - 8

2 1/5 ( 10x - 15 ) = 6 ( 1/3x - 1/2 ) + 10

3. 3 ( x-1) - 27 = 6x -3 ( x+6)

Question 1

6x - 9 + 4 = 5x + 10x - 8
-9+4+8 = 5x+10x-6x
3 = 9x
x = 1/3 (answer)

Question 2
===================
1/5 (10x-15) = 6(1/3x - 1/2) +10
2x-3 = 2/x - 3 + 10
2x = 2/x +10

multiply all with x
2x^2 = 2 + 10x
2x^2-10x-2 = 0 (divide by 2)
x^2 - 5x -1 = 0

Solve the quadratic equation, you'll get the answer
However, using a calculator, the answers i got are
x = 5.1926, x = -0.19258


Question 3

3 ( x-1) - 27 = 6x -3 ( x+6)
3x - 3 -27 = 6x -3x - 18
6x -3x - 3x = -3 - 27 + 18
0 = -12

There's no answer. There's problem with the question


**Please check the questions again, what i feel is that you might have copied the questions wrongly, in particular question 2 and 3.

* Responding to the comments by thedude, the only difference in my solution compared to others will be on question2. For that question,
1/5 ( 10x - 15 ) = 6 ( 1/3x - 1/2 ) + 10

the 1/3x in this question, i've interpreted it as 1/(3x). However, the other answers provided are referring to (x/3), which might be correct too. It will depend on the asker to clarify whether it's 1/(3x) or (x/3). Though i have to admit the question is rather unclear.

collect the like terms
6x-5x-10x=-8+9-4
=-11x=-3
therefore x=-3/-11=3/11
x=3/11

2)1/5(10x-15)=6(1/3x-1/2)+10
open the brackets
=10x/5-3=6/3x-3+10
2x-3=2x-3+10
collect the like terms
2x-2x=-3+10+3
0=10.

3)3(x-1)-27=6x-3(x+6)
open the bracket
3x-3-27=6x-3x-18
collect the like terms
3x-6x+3x=-18+3+27
0=12.

-9x-5=-8
(add 5 to both sides)
-9x=-3
divide by -9

x=-3/-9
x=1/3

2. 1/5 ( 10x - 15 ) = 6 ( 1/3x - 1/2 ) + 10
2x-3=2x-3+10
2x-3=2x=7

(-2x from both sides)
-3 = 7 which is impossible so it is undefined...

3. 3 ( x-1) - 27 = 6x -3 ( x+6)
3x-3-27=6x-3x-18
3x-30=3x-18

(again , look what happens when you -3x from both sides)

-30=-18

impossible. also undefined

2x-2x-3= 2x+7-2x
0x-3+3=7+3
0x=10 no solution

3.3x-3-27=6x-3x-18
3x-30=3x-18
3x-3x-30=3x-3x-18
0x-30+30=-18+30
0x=12 no solution
