OKay. I have a history project and what i have to do is make a journal of a real or fictional character in the civil war. I have to use the dates and facts from the civil war but im having troubles because i dont fully understand what i need to be doing. I know what to do it but i dont understand it. its confusing i know. I dont completely know how to do it and what facts i need to use. Like I need help and some tips because i like really done understand it. And maybe some websites on the Civil was that tell what happened and when so yeah, I HATE HISTORY. =[

It says to "Determine the amplitude, period, and phase shift of each function, and then graph them." But when I get to the phase shift of the problem, it is -4/2Pi, and the E.P. is 1-2Pi? How would I express 1 - 2Pi. if I'm even doing it right -_- Thanks!

I am taking English Compsotion I in college. On my current assignment, the instructor indicated that I had a punctuation error in the following sentence:

In this question, they say 30 - x = 17 and x + y = 23. So, therefore, we can say that x = 13 and y = 10. From that, when I solve it, the above equation x² - 5x - 4 = 169 - 165 - 4 = 0 But the answer says that it's x² - 5x - 4 = 169 - 165 - 4 = 100... which means your answer is the choice y². How is that even possible?!
