As far as numbers en masse, the German army was fledglingly small--but ever growing. And we all know the one source of German banal evil, given the power of persuasion--who nurtured and grew a behemoth--almost unstoppable--Nazi German army, bent on global domination.

However, in WW I.....the German military ranks were somewhat misguided, unfocused at best.
