1. Because of the distance from town, they plan their grocery shopping better.
2. Ambulances are farther away, so the survival of a heart attack is lower.
3. They aren't usually awakened at night by sirens or traffic noises.
4. They are more prone to have a garden.
5. Dogs owned are working animals.
6. They have the advantage of seeing more wildlife.
7. Many hunt because they have the land to do so.
8. They usually know their neighbors.

That's just a few that I can think of off the top of my head.

There are many aspects of Rural life like any place else that has its good points and their bad points
one aspect of the rural life is that economics is mostly depended upon the weather and the environment.
Most of the kids are allowed to still be kids and though they work they are mostly responsible for their actions
The people have a closer community understanding. They know who lives near them and even the ones not so near
when in times of troubles the town pools together and help.

Never had to pay to go camping or fishing. Climb a few fences and you're there. Get bored, roll down a hill in a 55
gallon drum or a tractor tire - better than a ride at the fair! The only pigs are the 4 legged kind. I grew up by "the tree in the middle of the road" rather famous around here.
