Has anyone read the book In His Steps by Charles M Sheldon? Spending several years in the United Sates, after living in China his entire life, made Ming learn and embrace a new culture. He realized that he admired many aspects of American culture, and he could adopt some of them without completely changing his previous one. Chinese society rotates around the belief that harmony between a group or family is far more important than the an individuals right to express whatever he/she is feeling. Therefore, Chinese critics thought of his critisism of the other players as a disgrace, and dishonor to China. In the Unites States, however, citizens are allowed, and in some cases encouraged to speak his/her mind.

i learn more by doing something instead of copying stuff down from a board. ive always been like that. anyways...

im doing an NVQ 2 in hairdressing and i am great at the practical stuff but i get so bored in the theroy class that my mine wunders and i start doodleling on the page.

i wont complete the NVQ without some theroy stuff so how can i start concentrating better in the theroy class?
