I really need some help...Please!!!?

Has anyone read the book In His Steps by Charles M Sheldon? If you have I really need help writing a paragraph about some of the reasons Jasper Chase abandoned his pledge to do as Jesus would do...I don't know of any reasons so if someone knows any of the reasons please let me know its urgent! Thanks
