32 and going back to college.. WOOOHOOO! I have no idea about styles of writing. I have to write a 200 word autobiography as an introduction to college class's. Basic information age,location,a little history and what I plan on getting out of my schooling, etc..etc.. If you are going to help me please explain in LAYMANS terms...Think of me as someone who has not been in a classroom setting for over 10 years.. Hi, for all that do not know, the IB is a diploma programme designed for High School students. To complete the diploma you are required to take a "art". I chose IB Music, a class which is about music theory and history.

One component of the class is the MI, which stands for Musical Investigation. For that you have to take 2 different genres of music and compare & contrast them. The genres have to represent a culture.

I want to do something that has to do with chords and modern day Britpop and relate it to Hindustani music. I am open to other suggestions, but my idea is due in 5 days so I need to get it decided so I can do some reasearch.

Any suggestions? Thank you for reading.

I need reasons to write in my debate. I have to write FOR the motion....and it's a homework assignment....so I don't want answers like "They aren't a waste of time etc. etc." Please don't reply to this question if you can't think of a good answer.
