It is "I" because it's the incomplete sentence " ....taller than I have grown."

My twin brother has grown taller than I (have grown). We assume the rest of the sentence, since the verb has already been introduced.
It's the same as "She is older than I (am.)" or My twin brother is growing faster than I (am growing.)"
It's very formal, and since English is a living language, the rule may change. For example, it is now okay to end a sentence with a preposition.

yes. you should use "I." a great way to test this is to add a preposition at the end. for this example, the way to test it would be:
My twin brother has grown taller than I (have).
if the preposition at the end makes sense, then use "I." if it doesn't, use "me." if you need more examples or help, let me know!!

My twin brother has grown taller THAN I HAVE.
It's sort of like
"My sister runs faster than I do."
"He is slower than I am."
"She is taller than I am."
"He thinks more often than I do."
It's all about balancing your sentences.
Wait a minute, why is your ENGLISH TEACHER *struggling*?? HAHAHAHA that's scary. Get a new teacher. :P

No question about it. The answer is definitely "I". Simply: My brother has grown taller than "I" have grown.

Than indrouces a comparison. You would say he is taller than I , you would not say me is smaller, You would say I am smaller. He is taller than I.
