My favorite month of the year is December. For many it is the last month of the year. For others it is simply a month of many regrets and expenses. For me, December is a month of magic, hopes, dreams, and love. December is the most perfect month any year can bring.
The first of December awakens excitement, anticipation, and pure joy. I can spend hours just thinking of all the delights to come. The crispness in the air and the cold on the windows makes me want to jump for joy. The thought of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning make me anxious for those days to come. I giggle thinking of presents, family dinners, and seeing people's expressions when they open their gifts. I enjoy giving, as well as, receiving. There is no better enjoyment than giving to those that are special to you.
I dream of all the happiness the holidays spread. Even the most serious have to crack a smile when New Year's is near. I love making New Year's resolutions and writing them down on lists. I rejoice in teasing family members with suggestions for their resolution lists. I chuckle in the anticipation of the New Year celebration. The excitement of counting down the seconds and cheering in the new year are enough to make me very restless until the time arrives. When it's all over, I immediately begin the endless wait for it all to happen again next December.

make a list of all of the things that you like about December. And then pick 1 to 3 and think about why you like them. And write down why.
