I need to have help. There is a diagram of 3 people holding a ball. The numbers inside the balls are the mass of them. Contestant A's ball has the numbers 5.0 kg in it. Contestant B has the numbers 2.5 kg in it. And Contestant C has the numbers 0.5 kg in it.

Assuming a force of 50 newtons is applied to each object by each contestant, what is the acceleration of contestant A's ball?

HELP!

We have to engage the class in some sort of activity involving the story. This is a college class, but so far the group presentations have been kinda silly. Other groups, who did different stories, had us make collages, story boards, put on skits, etc... My group wants to do something different. We're focusing on the last part- the Houynyhems- the horses. I thought maybe we could divide the class into two groups and put on a mock trial, or have a debate about whether Gulliver really is a Yahoo and should or shouldn't be expelled from the land. We could have one side debating that yes Gulliver is a Yahoo, and the other side debating that he's not. We could even have a judge and a jury. What do you guys think? Would you rather do this or make a storyboard or collage? If anyone has any better ideas I'd love to hear him!!!

3^x/2 = 15

I started with log (3^x / 2) = log15
then went xlog9 = log15
finished with x=log15 / log9

I think it was when I took the x out, I kept the 2 and took 3 to the 2 and got 9. What should I do?

I'm really confused on some problems I'm having a test on this week!! Any input on any problem would be great .. i just need them explained!!!!

1. a rectangle is three times as long as it is wide. If its length and width are both decreased by 2 cm, its area is decreased by 36cm(squared). Find its original dimensions. Make a sketch.

2. A small city park consists of a rectangular lawn surrounded on all sides by a 330 m(squared) border of flowers 2.5 m wide. Find the area of the lawn if the entire park is 5 m longer then it is wide.

Note: cm & m are centimeters and meters!

Also- if there are any sites you think could help me understand this sorta thing, please give it to me! I need a lot of help!

Thanks in advance!!!!
