I have a persuasive speech for speech class coming up and I need some ideas...absolutely anything high school appropriate that can last about 6 minutes or so

Persuade them that Nessie, the Loch Nes Monster is real. I just did that for my speech class and they loved it, and it is fun to research.

Something random:
Persuade people why they should NOT do volunteer work or donate to charities... that would definately be an off color topic not usually heard and definately bring about some controversy... Plus, you might get some props for being bold in your statements.
Honestly, just try and think of something that is bold that you can come up with strong arguments for!

A persuasive speech is when you are trying to make someone do something. You can write about personal things liek your mother buying you a car after graduation.
