i want to write a research paper about the history of medicine. got any ideas?

Well, you could write about how the initial health of the body is more important than the virulence of any virus or bacteria;
or how the polio virus went away (I think it was in parts of Europe) WITHOUT the use of vaccines - and how vaccines have been said to be this great thing that was the best thing since sliced bread, but may actually be of great (I mean "awful") threat to health;
or you could write about how or why honey and garlic have been largely ignored in modern medicine despite being some of the most powerful substances medicine has ever seen - and have been known thus for centuries.

tell about the part for 100's of years we didn't record the correct anatomical version of a human being. Or you could do a historical thing about the herbs used and the exploration of human bodies for centuries because of sheer curiosity. they used to believe if you drain blood and replace it with new you was cured, or the use of shock therapy been around for centuries.. alot of bad stuff has happened to people because of medicine

Very broad topic, you need narrow your topic. eg. to history of medicine in america, ny, etc. or to the history of a particular medicine. dont forget to research your information on how creditable the source is

you could write about how they used to do it and compare it to todays medicine. find out how certain medicine were found and maybe how bc they were found that they cure most of the illness of today and bc they were found that we do not have the illness that many people in the past has had. that might be good start.
