I have 5 written sources and 1 internet source...how many citations should i put in my research paper? how many per page?

Typcially, in a research paper, you should have one idea and some supporting info in each paragraph or two. So you should have one at least every other paragraph. You don't have to cite anything in a transitional paragraph typically, but you do need one when you are using information that is from a source that you don't think other people would know.

It would be best to inquire with the teacher to find out their expectations. If nothing is available I would say anywhere form 5-10 on a small research paper should be good.

1 work cited page with all the sources on it, i am doing a similar thing and thats what my teacher said.
