i dont know how to get the answer on this question:
A person walks at a peed of 2.00m/s for 10.00 s, then walks at a speed of 1.50m/s for 8.00 s. What is the average speed of the person?
* By the way...m is meters and s is seconds
oh and the answer is 1.78 m/s but how do you get there?

ok honestly-- I'm trying to help my nephew with his 3rd grade math and i feel really stupid because i honostly don't remember and he didn't have a book. [[yes i know i'm a retard - moving on]] It's the range mean median and mode stuff. I know the median is the middle number when you put them in order and one of them is when you add them all together then divide by the number of #'s. So i guess I just need the definition of mean and mode and possibly range... THANKS
