"An equilateral triangle has an area of 3 cm^2 determine the length of its base and its height to 2 decimal places"

Thats the question and I dont know how to do it.
I think you have to split it, create a right triangle then use the ratio
1:(sqrt)3:2 (because its a 30,60,90 triangle) but I cant get further than that. The answer in the back of the book is 8.32 and 7.21 cm

The experiment I am calculating for is designed to help us practice determine empirical formula. At this point I have determined the moles of copper, trial one = 55.5008, trial 2 = 56.3392, and oxygen, trial 1 = 3.3536, trial 2 = 3.3536. Unless I calculated my moles wrong, I have no idea how to calculate the copper to oxygen ratio!

This is how the problem reads. No parentheses.
