make up a word or sentence that starts with a letter or something that reminds you or each part. this is called a mnemonic.
read the stuff out load into a recorder and then play it back while you read it silently and listen to you own voice.
write it out a time or two in longhand.
go to sleep listening to the tape over and over.

Forget that you "hate history" and anything negative.

40 events and people is not difficult to do, but you need to find ways to associate your events and answers with things you can remember easily. Try rhyme scheme, or sports, or whatever you know.

However, 40 is not a lot. Get over that and just learn them. Look at history as a story and remember the story. It is not difficult. There really is no easy way to do it the night before.

Start studying earlier next time.

Sleep earlier than your usual sleeping time so that you could wake up earlier also..

The best way to study, especially memorization is in the morning, just after you wake up.

Your brain is still fresh and ready to absorb information.

Its effective..I did so many times before.

Good luck!

first of all, if your midterm is day after today...you mustn't wait til the day formerly to income! (yet I have not have been given any room to speak!! i became the greater serious procrastinator!!!) lol anyhow, Geometry is quite some memorization!! Making flash enjoying cards quite helped me with memorizing each and all the formulation and definitions.
