The corrrect answer is CCCXLV

Ignore Simon LeGree. His answers are bassackwards.

HIS Rules:
If the number is something like 4, then you don't write IIII but VI. This means that Five-one=four(VI)
Same rule with bigger numbers, 45.
40=LX(50-10)
45=LV(50-5)

The REAL rules:
4 is IV, not VI. VI is 6.
40 is XL, not LX. LX is 60.
45 is VL, not LV. LV is 55.

Here's what each symbol means.
M=1000
D=500
C=100
L=50
X=10
V=5
I=1
Rules:
