Let's say in a movable pulley, there is only one upward force right? But what is an upward force? How do we count how many upward forces are there in a pulley in order to determine the load?
P.S i need this for a test tomorrow!

i'm slightly late, but you tell by how many ropes in the pully system are going up when you pull on it
