Clarifying previous problem: 1+1/x / 1-1/x - perform math?

operation indicated, and simplify your answer completely.
This is how the problem reads. No parentheses.
I worked it out and got an answer of x=1..I don't know if this is right, however.

No equals sign either. What does it mean? Is i (1+1/x) / (1-1/x) = something? You can simplify the expression by multiplying top and bottom by x to get (x+1)/(x-1). This can be simplified further by mult. top and bottom by (x+1) to get (x+1)^2 / (x^2 - 1)
